Hello,Ford truck lovers

Just joined, not sure if this is the right place to post my introduction. I bought my truck July of 1998,brand new, paid $32,200.00. It is a 1999 F350,Lariat,7.3, 4x4, dually,6 speed manual, 3.73 gears. It has 92,??? miles, has always been garage kept. It has been used almost exclusively for pleasure, and it certainly has been. Only problem I had was the rear universal broke apart and snapped the Yoke, otherwise it has been terrific, the best, so much so, I don,t want to buy a new one. I have pulled my 1997 Holiday Rambler, 3 axle, 9300# dry trailer from Quebec to Key west and lots of places in between. Pulled a 29' Sea Ray to Marathon. Pulled my 32' wooden boat to Key West one year and Marathon the next. I have had so many good times with this truck, just can't part with it. Now will start a new chapter and try an Arctic Fox truck camper. The truck is bone stock with 0 modifications. Will be asking questions and searching for ways to keep it running longer than me!

Been lurkin' around here for awhile. Figured it's about time I join up 'cause I've got some pretty major plans and a major lack of knowledge that I think y'all could help me out with.

Leveling kit

Ive been looking around at forums and this one seems to have people that actually care to help and not just talk, I have a 95 f250 with a 5.8 250k miles. Just bought it, I have 35's and am wondering if they will clear the stock lift? Anyone have any pointers?

I bought a 1949 Ford F5 (49197 actual miles) barn find about a week ago in MN and it just got here in MI. I have been looking at the FTE site and decided to join as it seems you guys know your stuff and have been there and bought the T-shirt. My son and I are deciding what kind of resto we are going to do. I will be talking to you soon .

New member.

Hey Folks, I am Chris. I am a new member to the forum. Have been lurking for some time now. I just bought a 2003 F350 7.3 for 3800. It has 340,000 miles and still runs strong. I have never owned a diesel. I'm looking for advice on what to check for and what i can do to ensure an even longer life for this beast. Any help will be appreciated.

Aloha

I'm a new user and its a little confusing.

I would suggest the controller of this thread? post a step by step routing for new folks as to how to search for their problem or how to create a new thread for their problem.

Or, if this is already done where to go to find it.

Don't mean to be presumptive just a confused new user trying to go along to get along and benefit from all you folks knowledge.

New to FTE and to Ford. Traded my Chevy DMax LML for a '15 F250 CC FX4 6.2 gasser. Only 400 miles into it so far and it's growing on me. I know pulling the 5th wheel won't be quite the same, but as little as I pull I couldn't justify staying in an oil burner. GM rubbed me the wrong way, so I made the switch to Ford. Oh yeah, my wife made the switch earlier this year. Traded her Chevy Traverse for a new Explorer Limited and she loves it.
