PS Pmp & mount FROM 92+ E-series van 302/351W
Been awhile since I've been on the site (then under another name) anyway can't figure out HOW to connect with NUMBERDUMMY (Bill) he has helped me before.
ANYWAY:
I need the Power Steering PUMP & Factory mount from I'm told a 1992 + E series van with a 302/351
I'm converting my 5.0 in 1965 F100 to power steering.
IF Mr. NUMBERDUMMY reads this or someone can forward to him would be appreciated.
I NEED the parts BUT just the info would help:
I NEED
PART NUMBER of the PS bracket/mount & EVERY year & product it was used on
PART NUMBER of the PS PUMP & EVERY year & product it was used on.
Hopefully to narrow down my search in junk yard.
ANY help appreciated.

I've lurked here for years; and finally decided to join after getting my '15, F-250. Have owned a succession of F-150, F-250, & Superduty F250, & F350 over the years. Didn't feel the need to join, because I was always able to find answers to my questions just by scrolling through the forums with their wealth of info, and informed opinions.

Just bought a 99 F250-SD Powerstroke 7.3
Howdy folks!
After lurking around here and reading all I can about the issues of the 7.3 Powerstroke diesel, I decided to take a chance on buying a high-mileage F250-SD. This baby has 291K miles. It's been well used, scratches and little dents. It's setup for a gooseneck and has a vented aluminum notched goosneck tailgate. I have no history on it, but the vanes of the turbo were clean, the coolant checked well for nitrates (1.7ppm) and it seems to be in generally good mechanical condition. I paid $4700 out the door.
I knew there were some front end issues, there was a bunch of center play in the steering and the passenger side tire had severe outside edge wear. It still drove really well except for the center play in the steering. I don't know what a diesel is supposed to pull like empty but it certainly seemed way more powerful than my 1985 F250 with a 5.0L straight six. No smoke out the exhaust when idling and I didn't notice any when nailing the pedal on the test drive.
My son-in-law is a partner in an automotive shop and are replacing the passenger tie rod end and center link plus new four new tires to the tune of $1200, so now I'm up to $5900. The truck will be used mostly on a farm moving building materials and equipment. I hope it serves me well and isn't a money pit!
Thanks for the good info in the forum!

Newbie with '06 350 crewcab full bed
Howdy all, names Zach, just bought a used 2006 F350 105k on it from a used place and its my first diesel vehicle. Have had it all of 1 month, put ~200 miles on it and my check engine light has already come on . Hoping that I didn't get one of those that is a problem child. Will be posting elsewhere for some help on it once my buddy comes over and gives it a scan and I can pull some codes. Hoping its just something stupid and easily fixed as I want this vehicle to last me the next 10-15 years. Cheers and hope to be an avid member of this forum!

Hello from West Tennessee!
First, I want to say thank you for creating this forum!
I just bought my first diesel, an '05 Excursion 4x4 6.0L. I started out looking for a 4x4 Suburban or Yukon XL, but found that the ones outfitted with the trim I wanted had a sunroof. I'm 6'7", 260 lbs. and dind't even come close to fitting in them! Not a problem with my Ex, though!
This forum was already a huge part of my decision to buy it, and I can already see that this will continue to be an invaluable asset going forward. I thought getting my lights and sirens installed (I'm a Lt. and AEMT with my local VFD), but after reading this morning, it's looking more and more like rear sway bars and upgrade shocks are in my immediate future.
Thanks again. I look forward to getting to know you guys (and gals I assume) over the next months and years!
Ken
BTW - No lift on the truck yet. The user name is referring to me!

New to FTE
Hello, my name is Curtis and I live in Virginia. I own a 1999 F150 XL 4x4 and my wife drives a 2007 Mustang GT. I joined to get advice and information on a makeover of sorts to my truck. Would like to upgrade to power locks, seats, and possible retro fitting with disc brakes on the rear. My big concern is the rust that appeared this spring on the drivers side lower rear corner of the cab and drivers door. The White Mule only has 160k, I'm the original owner, bought new in October of 1998 so I know she is mechanically sound. If any one has undertaken this kind of project any and all advice or sources of information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

New Guy with an old truck
Hey y'all,
Joined the group to maybe look to the experienced ones to help when I get stuck. Have a 91 F150 XLT I bought for my son to learn to drive on 3 years ago, he is about to leave for the university of Alabama in the summer (Roll Tide!) and he is passing it down to his sister. When I bought the truck from a farmer, I was active duty in the military and did n't have time to put much into it besides the basics for safety. Now I am retired and want to put some TLC into it to make it a better truck. I am a pilot, so I tend to break things more than fix them, JK! I can read and follow directions fairly well, but do not have an extensive mechanical background. I will be looking to you gurus for a lot of help. Thanks for having me on here.

Hi gang, new member here and thanks for the welcome. Just jumped back to Ford from Dodge and excited and enjoying the ride once again. I own my trucks for ranch/rodeo trailering trucks and found an '07 F250 with 65000 miles and very well cared for. Just hoping the 6.0 serves me well. As I've learned over the years, every diesel engine has their cheerleaders, and I plan on seeing how far this 6.0 will take me. First 3/4 ton truck I've ever owned, all others have been 1 ton DRW's. Getting older I guess and heavier distance hauls are slowing down so thought I'd try the 250. Thanks again for all you do and Merry Christmas ~~ Scott / Oklahoma
