I'm new here also. I have a 99 F250 4x4 long bed extended cab with 295,000 miles. It had a 5.4L V8 that was pretty worn out and running bad. The transmission had issues also, with not wanting to shift or shifting hard. I found a wrecked 99 F250 with the V10 in it and it had 99,000 miles. After a couple of years trying to find correct information, and trying to find someone willing to do the swap, I got the engine/transmission assemblies changed out. It seems to run pretty nice now. I'd talked to more than a few Ford mechanics that said the entire wiring harness had to be changed out in order to do the swap. The guy that did my swap said all he did was swap the computers and the engine harness. The only problem I have with the truck now is the horn doesn't work and he looked at both trucks and couldn't find where the horn was mounted. I need to trace the wires and find the horn so I can fix it and get it to pass inspection. When I hit the button on the wheel, I can hear a faint clicking noise under the dash. I'm guessing that would be the relay? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey y'all,
Chris here from the beautiful state of KS... I'm in the market for a used F-250 / F-350 crew cab long bed and currently have my eye on a beauty from 2006 down in TX, but she's got the 6.0 Diesel so I'm still unsure if I'm willing to take the risk--or if I should rather spend a few more dollars and buy a higher mileage, worse equped 2011 with the 6.7L? Hoping to find the answer to that here.
~ Chris

I'm new to the forum. I kept running into it whenever I did a search for '51F1. Man there is some talent here!
I live in Florida and recently bought a 1951 F1 with a Camaro front clip andChevy drive train. I had a '56 set up the same way many years ago and I lovedthat truck.
I'm currently scratching my head over installing Bear Claw latches. Anybodythat's done this on a '51 please chime in.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to making use of this new resource!

Hope u guys be easy on me as haven't done any A S E testing now for some time. If I see something I can help with I will sure chime in.
May the fun begin!

New guy here, at least to this forum. My wife has a 2001 xlt excursion and well I cant leave anything alone with vehicles. The X has 120k V10. Updated the grill and headlights to a 2005 front end. Removed the plastic cladding and removed the painted pinstripes. Just barely added a set of MB TKO 20s with nitto terra grapplers 275/55/20.

Hi! I'm new here as of today. '08 F250 SuperDuty Having some trouble with my AC blower. Sounds like it has some trash in it. Should I take the blower out or do you have any recommendations as to how to solve the issue? Air flow is good, feels like no restrictions. Just sounds like- "a card in the bicycle spokes."
