I have three old 1973-1975 F100-F150 trucks. The lights on the 1975, F-150 went out and I have been trying to change out the light switch. I read a lot about how to remove the switch; but, some of the direction doesn't jive. Can anyone tell me how to remove that light switch?
This is the New Members Introduction thread and as the title suggests, there are no tech topics in this thread.
However, please feel free to visit the 1973 - 1979 F-100 & Larger F-Series Trucks - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums and post your question there. Lots of good folks in that area of FTE that'll be more than happy to help you out. Just click on the link and it'll take you straight there.

Hello everyone
I just bought my third F350 and I have to say Ford has come a long way over the years. My first was a 1997 F350 cab and chassis that I converted into a dump truck. It had the awesome 7.3 in it. I then bought a 2008 F350 crew cab Lariet with short-bed. I waited for the 6.4 liter diesel due to all the issues with the 6.0. I installed just about every Banks Power piece of equipment on it. I just bought a 2014 F350 Crew Cab Platinum. I am so impressed with how far they have come in just the past 6 years. The 6.7 is so quiet and so powerful for a stock engine. Plans are to lift it 6" with 37's, something I never got to do with the '08. Hope to get lots of information from this site!

Greetings All
I am the proud owner of a 1972 F100 4WD that I have had since 1978. It's in great shape too. It had manual steering and was really hard to steer so I converted to power steering by installing a 1985 Bronco power steering unit and now she steers great.
I've got a small oil leak in the rear end so thats my next big project. Anybody have any ideas how to go about completely rebuilding the rear end and maybe upgrading to a non-slip ??

Thanks MS, also thank you for your service. Looking forward to getting my feet wet in the forum and getting started on restoring my truck. I live a couple hours outside of DC. Done way too many funerals at Arlington, National. Army brat and former President of Rolling Thunder here in Va. Do they have a forum for the '80's? Thanks again. Best regards, TOM
