Would bigger coils and spacers give me 4"of lift?

Does anyone know what would happen if I put new heavy duty coils in front of my truck that raises it two inchs with the daystar coil spacers under the springs (or over however they work)and then add-a-leaves in the back. I want to level my tuck and I also want 2 inchs of lift to run 33's on it.
Would this mean that the front would have 4 inchs of lift? And then would the rear end have 2 inchs of lift? I need to know becasue I need to order new shocks and I wanted to lift the truck to fit some 33 x 12.5's on a 15x8 inch wheel.
I think this would work but would it? I'd need to order schocks with the right amount of travel also don't I?
Does anyone know of any good off road shocks with four inchs of travel that are recommened to run with another shock? I have quad schocks on the front and I wat to have a nice firm ride but not harsh because my front end is so stiff with four shocks. Helllllppppp!

you gotta tell me your truck first. i have the daystar spacers and skyjacker leveling coils. i chose not to put the addaleafs on because they tear up the ride. you will need longer shocks (i like my (rancho rs5000's). you will prob need alignment cam corrects or pivot brackets to get the alignment straight.

The truck is a 1989 F-150 4x4. It has a 302 5-speed. The rear sits about 2 inchs higer then the front with 2 full tanks of gas.I want to level it out(2inchs) and then add 2 inchs lift. How would I bring up the rear? And also where did you get the Daystar coil spacers and how much where they? Thanks

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Dec-02 AT 02:02 AM (EST)]get the skyjacker leveling kit. it comes with 2 inch add a leafs for the rear and 2 inch lift springs for the front. the kit is only about 140 bucks or so. you will be fine to add 2 inch spacers to the front as well. you will need radius arm drop brackets to correct the alignment. i got the daystar spacers (which were a true 2 inches for 100 bucks) through az4x4150. (name on site) he runs a shop in arizona called ctd offroad and can ship you the spacers. search for az4x4150 in this specific forum and you will find his email. email him and he can get you the spacers with no problems at all. all the materials will run you about 350 bucks. it might be better just to buy a 4 inch suspension kit, it will all equal out in price pretty much. plus you will need shocks made for a 4 inch lift as well. you might also look into a 3 inch body lift if you want cheap. true 3 inches in the front with no settling as well as 3 inches in the rear. on my truck i have (94 f150 xlt supercab 4x2)

3 inch body lift
2 inch daystar spacers
2 inch skyjacker leveling springs
I have an extra leaf in the rear from the factory so i chose not to use my addaleafs.
I fit 32x11.5's on 15x10 inch rims with gobs of room to spare.
Waiting on front replacement bumper which will prob bog down front about 1.5 inches.
ive probably spent 700 bucks on the lift installed which comes out to about 5 inches in the rear and 6 inches in the front off stock. did not have to replace brake lines. im in high school so i could not afford a good suspension kit. but if you have money just by a good suspension kit (preferably skyjacker). Or you could get a 3 inch body lift and 2 inch leveling coils in the front and you would be all set to go. body lift kit=90 dollars (350 installed by shop) and coils (140) thats 490 dollars for the lift installed.i would also recommend getting 2 degree cam correctors which are 80 bucks for a set i think which will correct your alignment. you will be able to keep your stock shocks as well but i do not recommend it (broke mine with only the leveling coils installed) good luck and if you have any more questions just ask me.

by the way, i have had no problems with my setup whatsover, and i beat the living hell out of my truck. spacers work great.

Would bigger coils and spacers give me 4"of lift?

Well thanks that was some good advice. But I chose coil spacers and coils with add a leaves becasue I'm cheap. I'm most likley getting the new coil and leaves from skyjacker for 150 bucks. Plus 100 for the spacers. Plus 160 for new shocks. I've put the coils in a couple trucks before so I'm doing my own work thats not a problem. For everything its gonna be about 450 bucks. Maybe I'll just get the coils to level it out and see what happens. Anyway thanks.

dont forget to get either camber correction bushings or pivot brackets alignment on these trucks lifted i a real b!tch. sorry for the foul language but its the best word in this situation. actually you might want to get the bushings and the brackets than you would have alot of room to align.
