Exhaust Manifolds - 1969 360

Just bought my f-250 a couple months back. I got it running with some help from friends. Just this past week, it got an entire new exhaust from the manifolds back. Now, I've discovered I've got a cracked manifold. My question is, where is a good place to buy manifolds from? LMC has them for $100 bucks apiece. Are $100 manifolds going to be good or not. And no, I don't want to put headers on.

Welcome to FTE

LMC exhaust manifolds = Made in China, so draw your own conclusions.

If you'd be interested in NOS = new old stock originals, two Ford dealers still have the left side.

C8TZ9431B .. Left Side Exhaust Manifold / Fits: 1968/72 F100/350 ~ 360/390 / Obsolete

The price might be reasonable, as this manifold can longer be returned to Ford, so the dealers are stuck with them.

Bob Allen Ford in Overland Park KS has TWO: 800-676-0675

Kinsel L/M in Beaumont TX has TWO: 800-816-2894
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I found 5 NOS right side exhaust manifolds at two obsolete parts dealers.
DOTZ9430A .. Right Side Exhaust Manifold / Fits: 1965/72 F100/350 ~ 352/360/390 / Obsolete (DOTZ9430A replaced: C5TZ9430A)
Wesley Obsolete Parts in Liberty KY has ONE: 606-787-5293
Dale King Obsolete Parts in Liberty KY has FOUR: 606-787-5031
manifolds
I bought a set off Ebay. They were probably made in china.
They were about 18 bucks each, brand new.
I just looked and the same vendor is now asking about $40 for each side.
I've had them on my 428 for 2 years now. They work fine. No problems, no issues, no complaints.
I put those 18 dollar manifolds on my truck last winter and they're holding up fine so far. Used new bolts and felpro gaskets from autozone. One of the easiest repairs I've done so far. Check my gallery for before and after pics of the manifolds
Seems like the best bang for the buck, Heard good reports on them.
Good Luck
I've always been told that "stock" manifolds on and FE engine were not up to snuff and pretty much robbed the engine of power due to flow restrictions....I would recommend headers...but of course...I put headers on all my cars...so take it as you will.....lol
WOW - 18$ for a manifold is sure cheap! Glad to hear that it's still doing the job for ya, Dave. I had an exhaust manifold welded/repaired and just the nickel welding rod cost me more than that. If you haven't yet, I'd suggest that you go back and re-torque the manifold attaching bolts. It's easy enough to do and it might prevent a future gasket blowout.
I checked out your gallery and I have to say that is one stout F100 working-man's truck. Not too pretty to toss construction debris into - yet nice enough to take the family to church if need be. Looks like you've got a good 'helper' too. Too cool.......
