I bought a new filter, hooked up 18K trailer and after 250 hiway miles the filter minder is in the red, setting off my dash light. Then dropped the trailer, reset the minder, and 35 miles with no trailer, it's at 25% on the minder?????
I dont go over 3000 RPMs, no chip. Stock setup. F450 2003, 4.88 gears.

The only suggestion I can give is that the 6.0 and 6.4 are very finicky about using aftermarket filters. For the air I would stick with the Donaldson and Racor for the rest. Other people on this and other sites have had numerous problems with AM filters.

 

Apparently the wix filter is too restrictive for some reason? Weird.
