2" lift on 94 f150

My friend has a 94 f150 4x4 and he wanted to put on a 2 inch lift just to give the truck a better stance. He was wondering if he did if he would have to worry about brake lines being to short or the radius arms or anything like that. He was going to get a skyjacker 2 inch lift or something like that that has taller front springs and aal in the back.

Or you could get a 3" body lift. Can fit 33's nicely. Probably be cheaper too.

I would extend them.. I just today replaced the brake pads on a 94 150, and the lines were almost too short to let me stick the caliper on the radius arm while I worked on the pads.

if you change them go with some good braided lines... they will not stretch like the stock rubber lines and you will have a lot more feel in your pedal.

just my .02

Ive got a 1992 and all i did was get the daystar 2inch level lift kit for 90 bucks... It lifts the front only a total of 2 inches to level the truck front to rear you can run 33's nicely I did not have to put extended brake lines on mine... If your friend wants to do a true "lift" I personally wouldnt bother with anything less than 4 inch... Most of these kits are fairly cheap still, will come with everything needed and you can run 35's easily. Especially if you push the front bumper out about and inch. Really easy to do as well... All you need is a couple chunks of 1/2 inch plate at each bolt location, drill the plate to match the bolts for the bumper, loosen off the bumper put the plates on the bolts then tighten back up...

i had the ones on my bronco made by a local hydro shop. they are stainless braided with standard ford brake ends. i think with everything it came out to $70 for both front and one rear

just an idea... But why not try a hydraulic place?
Alot of them do in house hoses making them to custom length all you would have to do is get the right ends, and they could cut and crimp the ends on for you....
Just a though.
