I am in desperate need of a Glow Plug Harness for my truck it is a 1992 7.3 Turbo Diesel the engine code is 989080(International motor) which I got from the L/S by the Cyl Head.The whole set up is just a disaster(spliced wires/burnt wires).I am looking to speak to someone who has it or can get it.I have been trying to reach out to people on another section of this forum but no one has gotten back to me and one Ford dealer does not take phone calls. i got one for a 89 7.3 idi it is the glow plug wiring harness.... pm me if it will work for you..

 

I was able to locate one from an International from a truck dealer near me.Does anyone know if the wires are the same colors.The parts guy said that they have been using them on the Fords.If anyone knows please reply.Thanks

 

Is it new?This may sound Dumb cause I am new to Diesels but what does idi mean

 

IDI = Indirect Injection

Not sure about the wire colors, even some of the Ford harnesses have different colors.
Bu the plugs are the same on the Ford harnesses and they work the same.

My guess is the International harness will plug right in as well.
