Sorry for this taking so long, but it's time we had a get together. I'm thinking on a sunday, since Nebraska plays on saturdays. What I need is feedback on who is interested, and where we might want to go. I want to avoid bars, since most of them are sooooo smoky ( like the last G2G we had in). Another issue is how far might you go for a get together, with gas/diesel being so pricey. If your interested, vote for a day, then post up any ideas, and where you might be able to go.
Gas is cheap now. At least after 4 bucks a gallon this 2.35 gas seems cheap. A get together sounds fun. Id like to show off my SuperCab and 429. Later dates in November would work better for me because I still need to finish the exhaust and tie up a few loose ends.
Oh Thanksgiving weekend would work good for me too. Ive got to go to Omaha for family stuff on turkey day so I could linger around for a few days since I dont have to work that friday.
I vote for all! As far as ideas...........I really don't know. Could be kind of a "meet in the middle" type deal but since we are so far spread out......who knows.
This is why we have Pat around.....he makes all the tough choices!!!

well few things for me.. it's hunting season.. Pheasant starts this weekend (Oct. 25th) and Deer season is Nov. 15-23rd so those two weekends are out for me for sure.
on a site to have it.. a thought.. how about memorial Stadium for a Husker Game? Kansas Game on Nov. 8th or Colorado game on the Friday after thanksgiving, Nov. 28th.. just a thought.
Hey Ill meet up any time you guys decide on. Something tells me this GTG is going to die again. Lets just set a date an do it otherwise will never get it done. OK guys are we going to do this or not. The good weather days are about gone. We need to to do something soon or just forget about it until next year. How about a meet at some eating place. Seems like a lot off the members that were around here havent even been on the site for a couple months. Cant figure that one out.
i'm still tryin to think of which day will work the best...since they're all sundays, it really shouldn't matter much to me, and i'm pretty game for traveling anywhere too

I know a meet at Randy's J-yard in Chapman has been mentioned. Spend an afternoon rooting around for goodies! Might have to wait for better weather, though. What would some of you think about Columbus, or Fremont as a gathering spot?
c-town would b right up my alley, and there are plenty of places to meet up too, bars, restaurants, so on so forth
