2005 F250/F350 5.4L Compatibility

Hey Guys,

I have a 2005 F350 5.4L 4x4 and am looking to install a CAI kit. There are very few options available in the market, if any. I'm seeing kits for the F250 5.4L but the same manufacturer does not offer a kit for the F350 5.4L.

For example, K&N makes part # 57-2570 (FIPK) and 63-2570 (Aircharger) for the 2005 F250 5.4L. However, they do not offer anything for the 2005 F350 5.4L. See links below for details...

Is there is real difference in the design of the F250 5.4L versus the F350 5.4L?

Thanks for your insight!

Most of the time the bay is the same, just they haven't tested it to confirm. I suspect K&N isn't aware or feels there is too little interest to test a 5.4L F350. Go to a dealer and pop the hood on a 5.4L F250 and compare them. Minor differences can be fudged to work.
