oil seepage?

is it common to have a little oil seepage between the engine block and the timing cover? I get a litt oil seepage right below the thermostat on my 89 f250 with 460. It is not much but it still bugs me. Seems like a big job to put in a new gasket. If it is normal I will just leave it. thanks

I was getting some oil in that area. Figured out it was the o-ring on my distributor. Just an idea and easier to fix.
