Tie rod end won't take grease

Sometimes heating them slightly will clear the solid grease blocking the way, use a small propane torch but be careful not to melt the boot. wrapping a soaking wet rag around the boot will help keep it from melting//burning and allow for more heat.
Myself if I can't get one to take grease I at least wait until the joint is shot before replacing it, unless of course it is stiff and causing problems already.
