Power point question

Ive got the captains chairs with the rear seat DC power point. In attemp to keep from having wires strung across the dash, I use the rear port for my aftermarket XM/Sirius radio and my CB radio. I have a splitter that enables me to power two things from one port.

The question is will it cause any damage to anything if I always leave them plugged in? I like to be able to get in my truck and hit the remote to turn the XM on without having to plug anything in first. Ive been running it like this for a few months with no issue and I just want to make sure its ok.

I run a dual outlet splitter for my kids dvd screens. As long as your not blowing fuses on a continual basis you should be good.
