What would your dream X look like?
If I could order a "new" X today with "any" option I would go with the following:
2005 solid black Limited
~ 20" F250/F350 wheels
~ moon roof
~ 7.3 Powerstroke with chip and all mods (4" exhaust, etc)
~ 4.30 gears w/ limited slip
~ King Ranch interior w/ 2nd row "captain" seats
~ Aftermarket Alpine DVD/Navigation system/HD radio
~ HID head lamps & Fog lamps/LED brake lights/LED interior lights
~ Bilsteins
~ Hellwig
~ F350 springs
~ RAS
~ Tow pkg
~ Chrome tube step bars
~ Tinted windows

Probably something like this:
Except not yellow.
Add the stock running boards then put Amp Research power steps under the boards.
Paint would be silver and black like an NCSHP patrol car.
Add a General Lee CB, tuned and pumped with antenna.
DVDs for each passenger.
One Up OffRoad has some bad azz toys.

Find a 7.3L Black Limited. Everything else is available in the aftermarket...including the 05 front end.
I know I made my dream Excursion (well perfect Excursion, for me. )
My dream one would be a free one.

Actually, I would like mine to have a 4" lift with a coilover conversion in the front. 35's on some nice rims. 6.0 with ARP headstuds, EGR delete, 4" turbo back, no kitty. 4.10 gears. In dash nav unit with XM and ipod. Fab 4's front and rear bumpers, receiver mount winch to use front or rear.
I am sure there is more....but thats a good start!

id would do the 05 as well, 5.9L 24V cummins, 6 spd, 4x4, lifted 8" or so, 38" all terrains, 20x12 wheels, 4.88 gears, full replacements front and back, 4" straight pipe, Dark Copper metallic paint, king ranch interior, dual sunroofs, 1 off sound system, hids and leds everywhere, cowl hood, billet grille,
