Pheasant opener is a big deal here. Does anyone have plans for the weekend? Have family or friends coming from other parts of the state or from out of state?
Any reports and or pictures post here.

I think the first weekend is just for residents????? I suppose the onslaught of out of staters will be hitting next week. Haven't been pheasant hunting myself for better then 20 years... Just not a big thrill anymore or something I guess.... Too busy on my old Fords anyhow!!!!!! Way more fun then shooting a bunch of dumb birds....

Well heck, if I'm only a week behind that means I'm caught up!!! Thanks for the correction Ryan.... Guess I don't keep track of that stuff too well anymore. When I was a kid, all the hunting season opening days were marked on the calender......

Well, I have a small (unadvertised) shop, and lots of projects!!!! Life is great!!!! Not unusual for me to not even be sure what day it is! Sure is nice not having to put up with Joe Public, meeting deadlines, and such!!!! Oh yeah, also have a phone out there---that I very seldom answer!!!! LOL

Yeah that is landscaping for me. I love summer time for that reason right there. I have a cell phone on my hip. I might answer it... Provided I hear it.v
