GOOD LIFT KITS

Tuff Country sells a 4" system with shocks, rear springs and pitman arm for about $720.00 and their 6" system is about $900.00 with shocks. The systems are $585.00 and $770.00 respectively.Superlift has systems for the same price as the Tuff Country systems. The Skyjacker systems are a little more expensive. They are $960.00 for the 4" and $1010.00 for the 6".I haven't seen any of these kits installed on one of these trucks, but I have a 6" Superlift system on my 79 F-150 and it works great.Hope this can help you with your decision on what lift to use.

GOOD LIFT KITS

I had an 87 f-250 that had the same suspension as yours & I had a 4" kit that allowed for 38" swampers. I have lifted several trucks like yours & it takes about 1 full day to do. I had a Trailmaster kit on mine & it worked real well, right now I have a 96 f-350 with a 4" Skyjacker lift. I have put Rough Country kits on & had problems with an axle pivot mount breaking after about 20,000 miles. I done everything with my 87 & never had a problem with it but it cost a little more but if you want reliable then you will have to pay a little more.
