lowering a 1978 f250

ok i have always lowered 2wd and lifted 4wds always made the most sense. i recently converted my 2wd ranger to a 4wd and a solid axle 10in lift and 35in tires.so i have a 4x4

i just got a free 1978 f250 4wd. i had a 1979 f350 4wd that i lifted then sold so i dont want to lift this one. heres my question. if i flip the radius arms and buy some lowering springs could i lower the front end? i like the look of an old lowered ford and drive threw lots of snow to hit the slopes.
