Relocating IAT sensor on 460 w/ H2O inj

i know folks like to relocate the IAT as the stock location is in the manifold (buried under the doghouse in my '95 E350 w/ EFI 460). but wondering if this is a going forward mod or backwards one when you are running H2O injection...

any thoughts appreciated

Probably best to leave it there. I moved mine from the air filter housing to a spot just in front of the throttle body on my truck as that is where it would get a better representative temperature of what the engine is getting (after the intercooler in other words). If the IAT doesn't see the temp drop you'd get from the water/meth kit then there really isn't a point of having the injection system at all.
