Question Turbo on stock 460

OK, first off my truck. I have a 1996 F-250 with a 460 motor. The motor is stock at the moment except for bypassing the AC conditioner and air intake (which is still in progress.) I do not plan on a lot of engine mods to the truck. I am going to put an aluminum rear driveshaft in after I put in a gear venders Grea splitter in the truck. I am thinking about a beafier tranny also.

I pull a 36' fifth wheel RV around from time to time and I haul a lot of weight from time to time. I also put the truck on the track every now and then.

Now for my question. What size turbo can I put on my truck without having to install bigger injectors? I know that I am going to have to make my own exhaust system to run the turbo as I have found no kits for my engine.

I am not good at algebra. Even Frederic's "monkey math formula" gets me scratching my head.

Also what would be the better set-up, a large single turbo, two small turbos, or one small and one large turbo? I know this question is more for opinions than anything.

Thanks for any advice.

i would suggest two small"ish" turbos. Don't have to wait for a large turbo to spool, and you have more air coming in than a single small turbo.

Do you know what size of injector you have stock?

Enough fuel + forged pistons + built tranny and rear = boost the hell out of it.

Haven't looked into the injector size yet.

Also, I know that two small turbos will give me the quick initial boost at the low end but will the boost continue through out the top end as well?

Long as you get the right two, they should.

So with my setup, what would be the right two?

OK, I found a post by Frederic this morning and came up with possibly a pair of T3's out of an '85 to '88 T-Bird.

Any thoughts or concerns with this set-up? I plan on using an intercooler as well.
