After Market Gauges

The only catch is that you really need to be able to see boost & EGTs at the same time. When you're really into it, the boost & EGTs will be up there on a tuned truck, so that might be something to consider. Plus, it won't read EGTs off the OBD-II port, and if you really get into tuning, you'll need a boost fooler which keeps the PCM from seeing the real boost anyway. You really need separate gauges for those, IMHO. I'm running the standard Boost, Pyro, & Tranny gauges right now, and I'll be adding that gauge shortly anyway just because I'll see any other parameter and it does buzz tests and reads codes.

Joe, well said
I have been looking at that gauge too and I did see on the bottom of the page that they can add senors for things it doesn't monitor. I don't know if they can pull off EGTs or not, but it has split screens so you can monitor 2 things at once.
To the OP, I thought I wouldn't like the a-pillar gauges also, so I went with an Edge programmer and those where my gauges. Once I switched to the DP and sold my Edge I went with analog gauges and I love them, the match my stock cluster perfectly.

I realize the pillar pod is a personal preference thing, but they are not nearly as invasive as ya think they'll be. It took like 1/2 day 'to get used to them'.
I stuck some switches and indicator lites in mine too! (DiPricol Optix series)
FWIW, the OBD II 'scanners' are a poor indication of the info you NEED. At least thats what I've found comparing Bully Dog and ScanGauge II to 'real' gauges...

Here is what I have. I really like it because it is out of the way and kind of a stealth look because you can't see it just by looking in the window.

3..2...1.... ignition! LOL you'd be ready to launch the shuttle with as much gauges as some of the guys on the forum have on their trucks. You need to search some of hte threads. I've never been surprised by the guages that people run but you guys get close to it.
Hey SKYSKIJASON I was trying to figure out what the fuel temp gauge does but then i figured your running a WVO system. That's cool, I'm working on a system for my truck.

I'm going with the Aeroforce gauges... They are the same as the Terminator gauges. i am getting the two gauge set up... I will be bale to monitor 4 things at a time out of two gauges...
Interceptor OBD2 data stream gauge and scan tool by Aeroforce Technology
Also works as a scan tool and can clear and check codes. Add that to the data recording and the "G-tech" setting and i dont think you can go wrong...

like they said, Vegetable Oil - and Purge button starts a timer in the Frybrid controller that turns off VO and opens a soleniod valve that flushes the VO out of engine before shutdown (just takes a few seconds). The (3) lites just let me know what system is doing - Red = VO system on and burning diesel (warm-up/shutdown) Green = burnin' VO and Amber = purging.
There are LOTS of ways to destroy a perfectly good PSD (or IDI for that matter) by burning VO. Don't ruin your truck, mmmkay?
pardon the interuption...
CSIPSD is my hero, I've admired his set-up for a long time.
