Everyone who has never owned a michelin tire says that....until they buy them....then they say they'd never go back. I've had michelins on my lincoln, my yamaha R6 and now this truck, along with a few cars family members have driven, and i'd never buy anything other than a michelin if they've got the type and size of tire available that I need. BY FAR THE BEST tires out there

no complaints with my Pirellis but all the Michelin feedback sure sounds good. Price at time of purchase will probably tip the scale in favor of one or the other. Thanks for all the good info.!

I've had very good results, BF Goodrich, Dunlop AT etc. but the wife's car ONLY gets Michelins with the extra inner layer for her car. She is the All American Tire killer, hands down. Once you buy Michelins you'll see they are really the best tires and wear and handle fantastic.

I've had both the LTX M/S and the ATR's. They both are very good tires. If you can afford it, get the LTX. If money is tight, you can't go wrong with the ATR's in that size.

Hey:

I have had both. The Pirelli Scorpion ATR blow the Michelin LTX tires out of the water. There is no comparison. Michelin makes a good tire no doubt about that however the Pirelli ATR's are in a class of their own. I have run the Bridgestone Revo Duellers as well, that too is a nice tire. I have the Pirelli ATR's on my F150 and my Toyota 4runner. You will not be unhappy.

their price vs. the Michelins.

The Michelin is a better tire in all respects. But the price is a killer.

You might be the first person i've ever heard of even thinking the pirelli is a better tire...let alone blowing it away

Hey:

I also stated that michelin was a very good tire. The Pirelli ATR's are in my opinion a much better tire. They track very well and offer a very good ride. They also rate extremely high in most consumer ratings. Trust me I was suspicious as well until I decided to try a set. I now own 2 sets. Price was not even a factor when I bought them so whoever said that needs to offer more solid input.
