Unhappy who lives in south Texas

Just wondering who resides in south Texas as I am visiting family in Alamo, just east of McAllen and have lots of spare time, nothing to work on while I'm down here and no old ford truck to drive around, I'm having withdrawals,Garry

I'm not as far South as you currently are. I live in Port Lavaca, probably about 4 hrs or more from where you are. Half way between Corpus and Houston on the Coast.

Homade, I live in San Antonio and if you came down I-35 into town, you passed within about 5 blocks of my home. Wish I had known you were passing through. Let me know when you make the return trip and we can have a cup-O-joe when you get to San Antonio. If you are here on Friday, we have a cruise night at Biff's Burgers on the north side of San Antonio just off the access road to I-35 north. Hope you can make it.

IThe offer is the same for me. If you come back up HWY 59 through Victoria or up the coast let me know. If time allows I'll meet you somewhere with my truck and we can visit for a while.

Talking

Hey homade, I thought you werent goin to be on here during your trip?

While youre in TX, you (depending on where you are) might want to take a look at that spiral staircase, that was built in that old church. I'm directionally challenged and dont know where it is or where you are in relation to it, but from the pictures that I've seen, its very cool!!!

Be safe, I'm not goin to even ask you to behave

We went through Weslaco today on our way across the border at Progreso so the ladies could do some shopping. Going down to Monterrey Friday and come back Monday, should be an interesting trip, I've driven over 5 million miles in the US but never driven in another country, should be fun, later Garry
