question about sirius radio

i have an idea, i dont know if anyone has tried it or if its possible considering i dont know how it works. basically i have a pie adaptor for my i-pod so i thought i could get a splitter for the rca's and plug the radio into that because i hate radio transmitters.

also i was thinking of finding the smallest possible unit and installing it into my flip out ashtray so i dont have to look at the thing constantly because that too would bother me.

any comments or suggestions

I have the smallest unit they make, for hard wired applications. It costs $30.00 and should fit in the ash tray. It can be directly tied into the stereo, using the Ipod cable.
I run my unit tied into the Ipod connector, on the to dash shelf. I hope to some day have it hardwired.

They now have a special with free installation, if you buy a six month subscription and buy a unit.
