I didn't take the photos myself, I think that they were taken by Ford during/after their event at the KC plant last week.
I had to go back an look but your right they are Mexican "Lobo"s, not F-150's. I've always wondered why they call the F-150 that south of the border?

Ford calls the F150 "Lobo" here in México because they had a version of the pre 96 gen that had a big "Lobo" sticker on each side of the truck and it was as cool as you could get so for the new generation(back in 96)they named the XLT,FX4,Lariat,King Ranch and Harley versions "Lobo" ; and the entry level and work trucks were and are called "F150" for the ones with 6 cyl.engines and F250 for the ones with with V8 engines, and "Super Duty" for the ones you now as F250

Well to honest, LOBO is sold in Mexico and Texas...These were probable going to Texas, and Northern Mexico. Convoy goes in a five state area, outside of that it goes by rail.
