Dry Rub

So while being my lazy self today when i could have been out changing the coil bucket on the 77 im watchig the food channel. Now i cook a lil but not like them. I was watching the spiked hair blonde guy at this place in Texas eating dry rub bbq. Now i want some. Anyone know of any resturants around here that would have it? My area would be nice cause drivin to Charleston would kinda kill the budget.

Don't know of any BBQ joints near "across from the neighbors" j.k. cheeto, I think your from up north somewheres, right?

Could prolly get some good ribs at Outback, Texas Roadhouse, Chili's has dry rub on the menu I think (don't know if there's one up your way though?). Don't know about smaller/local non-chain BBQ restaurants.

Could maybe get Joe to ship up some ribs from Southern Red's... they cater our company picnic every year. Not ribs though but still pretty good.

Not near you but I had some awesome dry rub ribs two weeks ago at the Foxfire Grille up at Snowshoe. The company I work for was footin the bill though so I don't know how much they cost. If its like anything else up there it wasn't cheap.

Nothing like lots of rambling with minimal help is there?

Well like outback and texas roadhouse is all drowned in bbq sauce. I just want like brisket with the dry rub. Joe should load up some southern bbq and get up here for a meet and greet. cough hint cough.

Cheeto, is there a Famous Dave's near you?

They have all flavors of ribs, one of which is "dry rub".

That sounds like the start of a good meet and greet

Yeah, hard to find dry rub on the menu. I think I remember Ruby Tuesday's has it? Memphis Dry Rub I think?

Famous Dave's, the closest I know of is in Charleston.

We do have Ruby Tuesday, Outback, and Texas Roadhouse.

O'Charlies was my favorite in Charleston though.
And we did go to another BBQ place close to O'Charlies that was good, but I can't remember the name.

Possibly! Don't know when I could fit it in though. This fall seems to be overly busy for some reason. Plus we're running out of decent weather...

Well, I think I'm scheduled to be back in Fairmont around the end of this month for another customer meeting....so the weather would certainly play into a meet-n-eat.

Joe, they have things called resturants in Fairmont with a roof on the top and walls.
The cool thing is they also do the cooking and dishes, bring you the food and take the dirty dishes away.

I bet if we don't get to rowdy they would be glad to have us at many of the afore mentioned resturants.

Where are you going to be in Fairmont?

Give me a call, and I will meet you somewhere if I possibly can.

Where are you going to be while there?

I will be out of town on the 18th and 19th, my nephew is headed to Afganistan on te 21st, so we are going to have a cookout before he goes.

I will be out of cell range both days in Franklin.

Give me a call when you get up this way Monday.
