What's a good source of veg oil?

I'm getting oil from a mexican restaurant and I might have found a source for a chinese food restaurant. What are other sources for oil? I heard that donut shops are not a good source because it needs to be procesed a lot more. Anyone using something odd as a source of oil for fuel?

county high schools, assisted living centers, and grocery stores have prooven to be my best sources. the oil that I collect at these places usually titrates at about a 0.9 to a 2.5 and is almost all canola or soy.

Thanks I never thought about the convelecent homes, I did try the grocery store but they told me they were already selling it. Are schools good about giving away their oil? Anyone else, anything different?

Can't take credit for this, was posted on this site in the past. Oil from private restaurants, at least here, has titrated much lower than the big chains such as Wendy's, McD's ect. Our sources are two small Mexican and one German Restaurant...

I get oil from 3 mexican restaurants but sometimes I get beat to the oil. People jump the wall to get to their oil. The owner of the restaurants is a friend of mine and he tries to keep it for me but he can't prevent stuff from hapening. I haven't been able to find another source because everywhere I go there is the same asian guy buying it. I hear about him so much now that I feel like I know him but I've never met him, I hate the guy....

maybe lockable lids would help? We are going to make a couple, but haven't got to it yet.

Our school took out it's deep fryer and now bakes the fries. I guess we were making all the kids obese. I lost about 12 gallons of oil a month plus the baked fries are lousey! Buy I guess the kids are healthier - hahahaha

Do check the Catholic churches next spring during lent. We like to fry fish on Fridays. Our church is good for about 40 gallons every year. The town I live in had their annual Fiddler Fest two weeks ago and I scored their oil. They were tickled to death someone was going to use it in their vehicle.
