fuel pump rebuild kit?

hello all of you ford trucksters... thanks in advance for what a good resource this site is... i've been looking around on this site for a while getting little tid bits of info... i've got a 62 f-100 with a 223 and a fourspeed... been sitting for years, went to start it today, fuel pump not sucking... runs great from the syphoned gas can, so that was a relief... now for the question... does anyone make rebuild kits for the fuel pump? new spring, diaphragm and valves would be great... i can get a new pump for not too much but i'm real cheap so would like to find a kit if i can... thanks guys...

I believe the pumps are gravity feed, Bill may say different, but if it is working with a can it is working.

Check the line coming from the tank to see if it is flowing.
