Thank you very much for the info. Does anyone have a pic of the bracket so that i can fab one and will i need any special extension pin or anything? Also will my mastercylinder work with it. It works fine just lots of legstrong like the armstrong steering.
Thanks
Rob
P.S. I just want to say you guys have been very helpful to me and i appreciate it Thank you again.

Assume referring to Power Assist, or Power Booster for drum brakes. Those units are expensive, $350-$400 which includes the Master Cylinder, wow big deal. I would probably consider upgrading to front disc. but see where trying to save money. Suspect the upgrade would cost about same as rebuilt setup, however there would be a cheap source of replacement parts thru any parts store or salvage yard. Wonder if interchangeable w/ passenger vehicles, may expand list of options, see where remanufactured booster for pass. veh. run approx. $90 with a $50 core charge, perhaps NumbersDummy would know.

Thanks Dave
I'd like to keep the Drums, Call me old fashion but i just like em, that and i'm not ready to delve into the disc world at this point. Fall has set in here in the great northwest with a vengance so alot of outside work just isn't gonna happen. the one i found at napa looks good but i need a little technical help on whether i need a new MC or just to fab some brackets. as this is a work truck first we do a lot of hauling and there are alot of hills here it gets a little dicey at times. Maybe next summer i can get around to the disc conv. I'm trying to get some better pics of the one you found, iwas already looking at but those were some bad pics it didn't look quite right.

Sounds good, see no hurry if please with drums, heck took me 37 yrs. before upgrading the 65 from drum to front disc. only became an issue when these old bones needed a little assistance. Noted the ebay seller mentioned there were a number of other items available off the truck, may want to email and inquire if he has the bracket, came up with a hood for 65 under simular circumstances. Anyhow, good luck!.
