Still here, bouncing between the 7.3 and the Club forums, meanwhile looking in here for whatever is going on..

Yea, it's really hard to keep a conversation going in here. People don't check daily, so things get broken.
Some of the members only check when I lay on them over the phone about abandoning us!!

Haha. Yes I do. ask Tim1!!!! haha. I get him all the time for that. He checks like 6 forums though. I need to ween him off a few and get him over here.

The easiest way to make sure you do not miss anything in the chapter forum is to set it as a watched forum.
Anytime there is a post, it will inform you at the end of the day that something happened. I personally dont do it, but i try to check every day, or 2 or 3 times a day if i can.

I think I'm watching 4 or 5 forums. But I actually can sit at a computer all day and keep an eye on stuff. Right now anyway. Hopefully our economy will get back on track and I can go sit in a machine and play with more dirt.

Luckily there isn't much overhead left for that company. I'm in the process of doing a refy to lower the payment on the excavator and take it out of the lease program. That transfers to last payment and she's all mine.

Hopefully after the election is done people will start building again.

Main problem now is that costs are down but materials haven't came down yet. A few people are leaving the construction business and turning over the equip to banks.

A lot of companies are giving up and turning in there equipment. The fortunate side is that I only have one machine payment and everything else for the company is paid for. I sitting pretty good in the grand scheme of things. I just need to keep things on a small scale for another year or so, then I can grow a little.

Need to look at doing a little advertising toward spring and get in the yellow pages. Every little bit will help.

Might want to contact the local FSA office and the local MSU extension office and let them know you do excavation work and have insurance.
