Just returned home. Took the F150 out for a dirve. Lots of dew and some fog but it was nice. Had a good coffee from 7-11. Took the long way to Frederick and looked at some new Jeeps.
The Mrs and I have been hashing over a new Wrangler 4dr. One issue is that we like our 97 so much that its hard to get rid of it. We have considered keeping it and still picking up the new one. I did something like that years ago with a Harley. Had a nice Sportster that was my first HD. Kept it when we bought a new touring model. The problem was, when I wanted to take the Sporty out, more than likely I jumped on the Tourer. Sold the Sportster after a year or so. I can see that happening with two Jeeps. Decisions Decisions.
Anyway, the Mrs was supposed to watch the grandchildren today while the daughter and son-in-law went to the Ravens game. While I was out on the morning cruise, the wife called and said the kids decided not to go to the game, so she's free. She asked if I wouldn't mind returning home so that we could take a drive in the Wrangler with the windows out.
We're getting ready to head out now.
Seeya.

You'll LOVE the new JK 4dr Wrangler!
I've owned four Jeeps, currently in a modified 05 TJ Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. But I have wheeled in several new 4dr JK's. Very comfortable ride, and they have made some practical improvments that go beyond the rear door accress. The axels are beefier, the belly pan is tucked up higher, the longer and wider wheelbase is more stable. The only draw back is that its a little tighter in narrow trails.
If you're into lifted Jeeps, you can fit 35" tires with only a 3" lift vs the TJ or YJ models where you would need 6".
Glad to see another Jeepster on the site:
Mine:
The new 4dr will be my next new vehicle.

Hello Mudpro. Thanks for the info. I'm afraid that my Jeep experiences are a bit more mundane than yours. The most we've done is the trail at Green Ridge State Forest.
Our Wrangler is a totally stock Sport with the 4.0 and Auto trans. It does have the optional 30X9.5 BFG's.
We test drove a JK and loved it. It was a two door 5sp. I think we'll go with a 4dr auto. when we make the jump.
