I need fender flare mounting hardware !!

Hi all, i just bought a used set of oe fender flares for my truck from ebay, but they dont come with any mounting hardware. Does anyone know if ford sells a "kit" or should i just go to the local hardware store and get some small screws for them? Im not sure how ford mounts them.... Thanks !!

btw, i about needed to change my pants when my local dealer told me it was 700.00 for a set of oem flares !!! does this seem right, or did he look up a set for something else?

The factory flares mount through prepunched holes in the fender and 1/4 panels. you will be drilling a lot of holes to mount those flares. I would recommend that you check to see if this would affect any rust through warranties before appling drill to truck. Dan.

The flares on my 07 are just stuck on with those black christmas tree fasteners or whatever the hell they're called. They're a real bitch to get back out unless you just say screw it and cut 'em.

The holes are already in the fender lips, aren't they? I can't see Ford making different fenders for trucks with and without flares, and I could swear the holes are there on my friend's flare-less '05.

i wonder if you just used a "good" two sided type and urathane to put them on with, that's all they use to put body kits on rice burners etc

they may fall off without proper prep. but you dont have to drill holes in your truck, the body kits that i've seen with proper prep work are a b!tch to get off, my buddy had a set of side skirts on a civic hatchback that we tried to get off and we would have broke them before them came off so we just left them, he sold the car and buddy was drunk hit snow bank rolled the car 3-4 times and those damn side skirts are still on, and the car's a write off

I'd stop by a custom body shop and see what they have to say
