Ford Newb- Pulling 97 4.2 Help and Advise Please
The truck is a 97 F150 2wd with a Auto trans, with the 4.2 Engine.
Ive done 10 chevy engines from gen 1 to gen 3. I have the concepts down. I am looking for a write up on the ford engine removal and install. I was working on it today and it seems that I can leave the wiring harness all plugged in and remove it from the firewal? Anytips and tricks would be greatly appreciated!

Hi and welcome to FTE and the 4.2 forum.
Nice to have you here.
Unfortunately, I do not know of a concise step-by-step for the easiest, most efficient removal of the 4.2 from the F150.
I'm sure you know about Hyanes manuals. That might be the best bet for a reference on requirements and sequence.
I have never pulled a 4.2 out of an F150 so I have no good advice.
I know there are several guys here who have done so. Maybe one (or more) of them can chime in and help.
Wish I was more helpeful, but lucky for me, I have no experience
