need pics of tips

I'm debating on how to run my chrome tips. I bought some 8" tips but thinking about taking them back and getting 18". I would like to see pics of a 04-07 f150 with tips facing 90* out toward the side, 45* out toward the side, and 45* towards the ends of the bumper. Thanks for your help.

I had my pipes ran and i went with the 3" chrome tips. They look real good. I'm wanting to hear it when im driving not just at take off. Should i get some high flow cats? I ran a single/dual 1 chamber.

what kind of muffler did you use? I did a single-dual Flowmaster super 44. I was never a big fan of flowmasters but this was just what i was looking for. You can hear it when you want to but unless the radio is way down its not an annoyance. I left all of my stock cats on. I've played the high flow game in the past, i kinda see them as a waste of money now as i've never seen any gain to speak of. I think there is an aftermarket y-pipe for your truck that might free it up a little and make it a little more noticeable. Hae you thought about headers? Im looking into some mainly for MPG and the fact that my manifolds are starting to leak.

I'm not sure what muffler you used, but i put a Magnaflow 14" SI/DO (Part#12198) with 4x18" tips (part#35117)on my truck, and i can hear it at take off and while i'm driving as well.

I used a performance curve 1 chamber. They are just like the flows but half the price. After hearing it while someone else revved it up i like it the way it is now. I'll have to get video and pics of it. As far as headers Im gonne hold off. I know headers will open up the exhaust but i havent had the truck about 3 weeks.

Often how loud the system is depends on where you have the tips exit. Loudest is under the bed or or in front of the rear tires, next loudest is the factory location, and quietest is out the back.

We have a selection of quite a few stainless steel tips. We don't carry chrome tips, because they usually rot out regardless of quality.
