Here's a couple pictures of my 79 F150. Running a 400, aluminum intake, 4bbl Edlebrock, headers, 3" pipes, 24" GlassPacks, and finally into 5" stacks......

sycostang67 has the best gas stacks ive seen, they look and sound good an the mis-matched beast (not saying that '79 isnt that good looking w/stacks, 1979 trucks are drop dead sexy in my eye)
not too sure what itd look like on that truck tho

Thanks dude appreciate the comment.

I felt it was my duty to put stacks on my truck since the majority of diesel owners dont have the ***** to put them on there own trucks.

It was also one of those childhood dreams I had to fulfill. Besides, my truck is an oil burner, needs new rings.

Got a sound clip in my sig if you're interested.

Sure do, here's one putting through my subdivision.

Here's one getting on the open road.

This is a 460, true duals, no cats, no mufflers, 2.5" pipe into 5" stacks.

Personally I thought about putting stacks on too, but not diesel ones. They make smaller versions like 3", but I cant bring myself to cut my bed to do it anyway. Plus I like my exhaust the way it is. But I admit to thinking about the stack idea quite a bit.

I would put stacks on my 05 in a heartbeat if I could keep my tool box and not loose any bed room.

I kept my toolbox, and only lost 5-6" of bed room. I can still fit an ATV in the back of my truck. Sure I cant have a shell or slide in camper, but I prefer bumper pull campers and the last time I had a truck with a shell I was always putting it on and taking it off. I could never decide which way I liked it better. Now I dont have to worry about it anymore.
