Out of town for 2 weeks

Gonna miss this board. The company is sending me to Vegas, NV for a conference next week. I'm taking my 14yr old son with me. After 4 days of "work" I'm heading to Barstow, CA next Friday to 4 wheel w/ a buddy, then head up through Sequioa, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, then over to Salt Lake to wheel some more, then home through Moab, UT. I'll be gone till 7/27. Gonna see friends in Kingman AZ, Vegas, Barstow, and SLC. My friend in SLC is flying down to Vegas next Tue and he says he'll give us a ride in his plane - maybe over the Grand Canyon. I'm sure I'll have web access but prolly won't surf much. I'll need to do my timesheets and check emails, but that's about it. The great news is that mileage just went up to 58.5c/mi so that's about $700 for the 1200mi round trip to Vegas. I'll be driving about 3000mi and taking the Mustang, which gets about 25mpg loaded and haulin ****. So that mileage money should help pay for most, if not all of the gas. You all have a fun and safe next two weeks. I'll post pics when I return.

Have fun! Be careful, but then again "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" (we just want to see the pics)

Hi everyone. It's good to be back. Sorry - but NO blackmail material! If there are no pics it didn't happen! We had a great two weeks away from home. Actually got home on 7/28 but I just now got back on the site. Been real busy catching up at work and other stuff. One nice thing was a break from computers! I sit at one all day at work and it was great not having to use one, except for the ol' timesheet! I got tons of good pics though. We saw Hoover Dam on the way to Vegas and after the conference we went to Barstow and Big Bear, CA, Death Valley, Sequoia NP, Yosemite NP, Lake Tahoe, Salt Lake City, Utah redrock country, Moab and pretty much all over the place. Drove a total of 3500 miles. Took the Mustang for the mileage - mid/lo 20s and GAS! Highest I paid for gas was $5.37 in CA. Diesel was over $6 in CA. Avg I paid was around $4.50 for the trip. Sux but driving the 7.3 would have cost a hella lot more. I'll get some pics up soon as I can.
