first off you are driving a gas vehicle you CAN spool a diesel up. But the rest of your post shows an ignorance of diesels that will get your face blasted with that black smoke. I race mine on a regular basis (on a track mind you) and the "ricers" won't even line up against me anymore because they got tired of being embarrassed. heck I take out mustangs and some vettes too.

fast for what they are? how about 10.77 at 121MPH? granted neither of these trucks are a ford But drive it to the track pull those types of 1/4 mile times and then drive it home while towing your car that broke
Video - Two fast diesel trucks going at it at the track..One runs a 10 the other runs 11 second 1/4 mile time..

BTW neither of those trucks hold records

How about 10.25 at @131

If it's got wheels, somebody's going to race it - that's just the way it is. Racing is racing even if your riding tricycles.

Who thought of racing ricers 25 years ago?

Wow, even moderators are rude around here? When was I being malicious or down talking the desiel truck? I even said I was confused or was that not blatant enough "ignorance of desiel motors" for you. I was asking a question. I am not a troll here and am not sure if you took my post as that.

Now, the rest of YOUR post only proves my point. Fast is relative. Your times only show that truck is a TQ monster with good traction. Very low trap speed for the ET. Some "ricers" may run away with their tail tucked but I would not. You'd be best to keep that thing at a 1/8 mile track. Other wise, I'll back half the hell out of you with your 121mph trap speed.

Now... completely ignoring your post that I took as rude/prickish bantor.
That is a beast ass truck!! lol, jezuz. I've seen some run into the low 13.'s and new there were trucks like this out there, I have just not ran across any of them. I've seen a couple max out the TQ reading on dyno's with a Banks system. Something like 600hp with 1200+TQ but have heard this removes the towing ability due to heat. Sweet ride either way. I'd drive the hell out of that truck.

Honda has been racing for over 25 years. I guess we've both been touched by ignorance.

As far as my other comment. I think I said why race a stock desiel truck and then pointed out that a bone stock sports coupe like a G35 or a Pontiac G8 for example, would make very short work of a truck like that. What exactly was laughable?
(I just read back my post and yes it was worded wrong, I was talking about the OP's bone stock truck racing.. not a hugely modded track truck racing a bone stock sports sedan. Sorry for the confusion, I was wrong).

Relax, cowboy - and my reading comprehension is fine, thank you.

I don't see the word stock in there.

This was what I found laughable, because it just isn't true.

There were no specific models mentioned in your first post. I wouldn't ever claim to be able to beat a G35 or a G8, but there are plenty of bone stock (as you said in your first post) sports coupes, sedans and nice suv's that would lose.

Incidentally - regarding the reading comprehension issue?

Look at the title of this forum.

hahha who said anything about racing a G35 or anything like that, the kids racing a Ford Taurus, now if you want to get technical, the quarter mile he will smoke the taurus, but anything over that the taurus would prob win cause of the stock superdutys top speed limiter of 95, yes theres fast diesels out there, but in order to have a diesel done up right, you gotta be willing to fork over the $$
