I havn't heard anything on here about any hypertech parts. But they talk about them a lot on the power block.
I don't know how well it would work with the PSD.
The consensus around here is DP or TW.

If you just need the code reader function, might try looking into a code reader from your local parts store.

I think I mentioned this in your other thread but I still say this will be one of your best options.

i have the superchips i figured that the boost in preformance plus code reading would be worth it, although i like it i will be going to a tw in the future. and you get the code in numarical format you still have to decode

Yes you did, I am keeping that in mind. The web page is kinda confusing.
Do you know which part # you have? The way the text is lined up it doesn't really show what is on single gauge vs double. And you mentioned the buzz test for 30$, what is that?

I have a single gauge. The double gauge is for if you want to watch 4 items at one time. Otherwise you get to watch 2 data lines (ex. ICP, IPR% etc) at a time.

The buzz test is to test your IDM, wiring and injector solenoids. and the Contribution test is a cylinder balance test. it will tell you if you have a miss which cylinder is missing. For $30 you get both test abilities added to the gauge. It is well worth it since just having one of those test done at a shop one time will cost twice that.

You can find a reader for OBD I on jcwhitney, but for the money and the bump in mpg a programer i think is best.
