The current plan is (unless it changes again) to drive down really early Saturday morning. They both have to work Friday.
I think dad wants me to take my truck and show it down there. We will see.
Joe: Do you have text on your cell phone? If so, send me an E-mail from your real address and I will give you my cell number. I have a hearing problem and can't use a phone as a phone.
Brian, I have been several times and have yet to find anything worthwhile related to an effie. But this might be the time when it will be nothing but effies. You just never know what will show up.
I also went through the museum in the afternoon and all over the park. The park is worth the trip. I had never been there before and I have lived in AR all my life. Yes..born in AR as well.
He is going to a car show of some sort. He told me, but I am forgetful. LOL
I am going up to spring hill Kansas with my truck club this weekend. There is a cruise in going on there that some of our members attend. Just a club weekend kind of thing.

I doubt it. When I lost my hearing, it screwed up my balance badly. I have to watch every step outside on unlevel ground (sloped up and down as well). Plus the rocks and tree roots were everywhere.
People can walk right up to me without me noticing until I almost walk into them.
Yes...I have a cochlear implant now, but that did nothing for the balance problem.
