Hello everyone. This is Netscaner's daughter. My mother was going through Netscaner's emails the other day and noticed that he had a lot of good friends on this forum, so we wanted to post here.

I'm, sorry to say that my dad (Netscaner) passed away suddenly on September 12, most likely due to an aortic anyuresm. It came as a shock to us all. Although he has had some health problems over the course of his life (especially lately), none of us closest to him really realized how badly he was feeling. He died too young -- he had just had his 64th birthday a few weeks ago.

Thank you to everyone here who was a friend and acquaintence of my father. I know that the relationships he formed her undoubtedly brought joy to his life.

We will be keeping his email open for a while and will be checking it...

I am very sorry to hear that Kathy.

He was very active in the 1987-1996 forum and helped people out whenever he could. I hope he enjoyed working on his '94 and using it during his short retirement. Andrew and his family are in our thoughts and prayers and we hope all is well with you. Since you are in as him you can probably find out through his PM system who he talked with and let them know.

Though I`ve never met him except through your letter here I`d like to express my deepest condolences, this hits close to home for me.

 

Sorry for your loss. I'm new to the forums and notice you post right before I posted my introduction. I read the post and it sadden me, but at the same time thought how awesome of you it was to post in honor of your father who seemed to love in this forum. I would like send my condolences.

 

I did not know your father Kathy, but would like to offer my condolences to you and your family. I'm sure that those here on FTE that knew him will miss him.

I never "knew" netscaner, but FTE has really grown into a great group of people to interact with.
He was a part of that.
