Ya'll gotta start going to this! I can't post half the pictures 'cause they'll violate the rules The only way I can describe it, is that it is a "Redneck Mardi Gras!" Oh yeah...there was a stripper pole set up in the back of a brand new FX4 in the back camping spots!
This is me, 3rd from the left in the White T-shirt, Sitting on the bank of the creek. It was hotter than hell, so we came down to the shade and watched a few friends play around in the creek. About 5 minutes after this picture was taken, we got a good mud-wrestling show from some crazy women!
Yeah where's that at??? I'd go just to look at the 2 legged scenery !!! Nice trucks tho too!! LOL.....

It is located in Cartersville, VA. West of Richmond. It's only about 2-2.5 hours away from me in Roanoke. Definately worth the drive!
The event is put on by Old Dominion 4 Wheel Drive club 3 times a year. April, May, and September. $30 gets you in all weekend long. We get there Friday around lunch time and leave Sunday around lunch.
ATV races, 2WD & 4WD tuff-trucks, Mud bog, sand drags, and a live concert Saturday night. Consession stand for breakfast/lunch/dinner if you are too lazy (or hung over) to make your own!
Here's a video...be sure to watch at the 1 minute and 6 minute marks!
Sounds pretty damn neat...are you allowed to bring in a cooler with luch etc. in it ? and of course your beverage of choice? Can you park your truck and sit in the bed and watch the races?
I'd attemp to watch the vid, but out here in the stick we dont have high speed yet? they been telling us we'll get it and its been 3 years now..

Bring anything you want. Just no glass bottles, pets, or fireworks. It would be very hard to watch all the activities from your truck however....you would have to bring a very good set of binoculars! We camp down in the lower campgrounds, which are reserved for racers and pit crews only. We are with 4 competitors, so that's how we get down there. The track is 40 yards away, consession stand is 100 yards, and the mudhole/drag track is 150 yards!
The upper campgrounds are quite the walk away from the activities though, but not bad at all. A group of us walked the entire facility looking for a party in about an hour. That includes stopping at the stripper pole for about 20-30 minutes!
