You can get one from Classic Auto Parts here in Oklahoma City (800)654-3247. The part number is F09-16465-035 (original Ford part number is C5TZ-9A758-AH) and costs 64.95.

Did they have the throttle cable in stock?

Also, I have noticed you do a lot of posts on here...do you know how to turn private messaging on? The only option I saw on the CP screen was to turn email messaging on. Thanks.

That actually does not surprise me! They hardly ever have anything I need in stock. I wish you had needed that a few months back b/c I sold one on ebay. I decided to switch to a lokar one instead.

Bill, there's a link in your thread on Slick 60s that will answer the Lokar question. Looks like something I will try next time I see them at a show.

I just bought a universal one that was a little longer than what I needed. I have not installed it yet because the truck is still in the body shop. Since we shaved all of the unnecessary holes in the firewall I thought the lokar one with just a bolt holding it on would look neater than the big bracket that went with the stock one.

you can probably get it cheapest at summit. i have bought almost all of my engine and upgrade stuff from them and they seem to have the lowest price on almost everything.

Update:

I just orderd a brand new one from Obsolete Reliable Parts co. in Nashville GA.

ObsoleteReliableParts.Com

seems they have a lot of obsolete stuff for 57-66 F100-250 and the Econolines.

Thanks DDavid for letting me know about the other thread, I dont get e-mail notification from that one.
