Good evening folks.... sorry that I have not made it on here until now......
Been working on that myself this afternoon and evening. From what was left from last winter and what is already cut, just need to split it, I have about 16done. I have about another 4-5 cord of wood worth to finish cutting up. Then it is time to get the splitter going.
First thing that is one my list before I even think about striking a match. Usually I take care of it over Labor Day weekend, but have not done so this year.
I too have seen the effects of not keeping a chimney cleaned. It is almost guranteed that when the weather gets cold for the first time of the year, there will be some chimney fires.
