SD Roll Call and Introductions

Hey everyone, guess I'm a little late getting here to see what all the excitement is about.
Name is Dave, I've been working with about anything you can think of with the blue oval on it since I was a kid. Own an F250 Diesel that I have been keeping in shape over the past few years.
Glad to see we finally have a state chapter up, about time!

Heh, yeah it's deffinately an adjustment! We got here last January in 15degree sunshine and people kept exclaiming what GREAT WEATHER we had for moving in. I didn't think it was bad, but hey, it was cold. 15 is close to as cold as it gets in KC. Then a week later it was -25! We pretty much just holed up in our apartment until May. The few times we did get out we never saw anyone, so I figured they were just holed up too!
So far as attitudes go, they're different, but there are pro's and con's. I grew up in small town Oregon, so some of it is nice to get back to instead of being in a major Metro area.

Hi all
I am Rob from Kyle SD. Off the beaten path but kind of a hot spot for mud boggers. My dad was a Ford man and so am I eventhough I only have one now -a 1977 F350 Dually with a 400 and 4 spd. My dream is to: ( win the lottery first and then) make it into my trailer puller. I want to really deck it out with some new technology but make it appear stock. It is great to have a SD chapter.

But the nice thing about Pierre being in the middle of the state is I can drive any direction and be anywhere in the state in 3 hours.
