wheel set back

My donor wheels from the Mark VII don't have enough set back to bring my tires out under the fenders. What wheels are you running out there? I understand that Jeep, Chrysler and Ford Rangers all have 5x4.5 wheels. Have any of you used these for a 5x4.5 wheel?

What type of suspension are you running? The Lincoln wheels that I am running on my 53 with the IFS from a 87 Town Car are a perfect fit.

I'm currently running 15x6 wheels from an 87 Chrysler 5th Avenue on my 48 F-3 with Volare up front and Chrysler rear. They're perfect for the front but a little narrow on the rear. Future plans are for some aftermarket smoothies with stock hubcaps...

I put a Heits front member with a Mark VII power rack and the rear axle off the Mark.
They seem like they are in too far. I think they would look better out another 2-3 inches.

Max,
I just measured setback on the 7"x15" Dodge/Chrysler rims I have in the garage. They have 3 7/8" from mount face to inside of the rim. They take a 9" hubcap vs. the Fords' 10".
Can't say about the look when finished: my project is still in pieces.
