Roller cam in 302-What years?

When did Ford start putting roller cams in the f-series 302's?

Would a '92 f-250 302 have the roller cam?

In '85 Ford started putting the roller cam 302 blocks in the trucks, but still used a
flat tappet cam. I took a '85 F-150 302 block, flatten the tops of the bosses in the valley for the spider, drilled and tapped those same bosses. Used the spider and roller guides from a Mustang.

I new they started the roller capable blocks then, but I was asking about the roller cam being in the engine allready, not being able to put one in.

My Sept 91 Ford Shop Manual for 1992 Fseries states that all 302s of the 92MY had roller cams and lifters and shows illustrations of this . I have also read in good source books the same.

I have also checked remanufacturers of 302 engines and all of their websites also state that beginning in 92 all truck 302s have rollers.

I have also heard that these 92 302 truck engines use forged pistons---the same as Mustangs.

Did they start at the beginning of '92 or before that? Or after/later in '92? Like for example, in the mustangs they switched to efi around the middle of '86, same with the trucks for probly the 302 and for sure the 300/6.

All 1992 302 production truck engines have rollers. Mustangs and other cars got the rollers at different times.

Just like truck and car 302s went from Speed Density to Mass Air Flow at different model years.
