8.8 to 9.75 rear end swap

Working on 2000 Expedition with shot 8.8 rear end . Going to need ring and pinion spider gears carrier , more money than a junk yard rear end . So I was wandering if 9.75 would direct interchange with it including the drive shaft . 9.75 in my area are much more available and also cheaper. Also this guy would benefit from a heavy duty rear end.

I don't see anything wrong with it except maybe the 8.8 driveshaft being to long, make sure it's the same ratio
