Rain guards

Hey all, does anyone know who makes a set of rain guards (vent visors) that snap in the window channel instead of using the 3M tape? If so where can I get them. Thanks

the company vent shade makes them i used to install them.. they are infact called in channel rain guards... make SURE you leave your windows up for atleast 24 hrs to properlly let them seal if not when you roll your window up it will hit the plastic of the vent visor and possibly break it.

When I first got my truck it had those but I soon lost one of them in the road, one night, in front of my buddies house. They got replaced with some of the ones with the tape.

FWIW, I have the tape variety and three and a half years later, I've only had one corner come loose which I just re-taped down. I would love to have the snap in kind but these ones are still in great shape. I do love the concept of them, window cracked open without much noise and when I park it on a hot day, leaving the window down a smidge to vent.

I think you might mean Weather Tech, here: WeatherTech Automotive Accessories - Side Window Deflectors - 2000 Ford F-250/F-350/F-450/F-550 - WeatherTech Side Window Deflectors I've got these on my truck, and am very pleased with them.

Jeremy, Thanks for the link, I have been looking for rear only for a while and they have them. Already have front and if they end up not matching, only extra shipping to get the front as well. Good find!

I have had the ones with the tape for near three years now. They are holding strong. I have occasionally bumped them and they are one there good. Prep is key. Use a bottle of rubbing alcohol instead of the prep wipes that come with the kit. And wipe good. Insstall at 70 deg. or higher.

Thanks for the links and vendors guys, do you prefer the ones that stop above the mirror mount or that continue down?

one of the most "underated" accessories for a truck (or car). couldn't live with out them. i love it when its raining out and i can just crack the window an inch for air and not get wet. i've had the tape ones on now for 2 years.
