1965 F250 vs. F100 Spring Perch

I am trying to fix a bit of crab walk or dog walk on my 1965 F250. The frame looks straight, but the bushings in the leaf springs are in terrible shape. The spring seats also do not appear to be the same on each side. The U bolts also do not appear to be all the same. So, I want to try to replace the bushings, spring seats, u-bolts, etc.

LMC has most of the parts for a f250 (bushings, bolts, u-bolts), but they only list a spring seat for a F100. Would the spring seat be different on a f100 versus a f250?

Thanks,

Assuming you're talking about item 2, yes, they are different. The F100 is stamped steel and mounts on top of the spring pack, while the F250 uses a cast iron piece that mounts below the spring pack.

Here is a thread with some parts book pictures. I had a 65 F100 parts truck that had the aux spring option. That thing had more spring under it than the F250 Camper Special I have. I kept those cast iron parts if that's what you need. But I don't see any of that stuff ever wearing out. 1964 Vs 1965 f100 rear rear leaf spring hangers - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums (ford-trucks.com)

Yes, I guess that is what I need. You are probably right and mine are not worn out, but they do not appear to match. I am wondering if having the wrong parts there along with worn out bushings could contribute to the crabbing/dog walking.

I would be interested in getting the right ones.
