07 Expo Mirrors on 97-03F150

Hey guys,
i was wondering if the mirrors of an 07 Expo will fit on a 97-03 F150.the plastic moulding seems to have the same dimensions..has anyone tried this???

i know someone tried them on a expedition and they fit. but i dont know if they worked on a f150,

I've seen 97-03 running around with 04+ Expy/F150 mirrors, IIRC you have to drill new holes and trim the plastic but they fit and wired up OK...

thanks for the info..once this damn hurricane IKE comes around houston..im heading to the junkyards..i want the 07+..then paint them to match the 02 Kingranch....
